Salsa Events in KMC
Update: May 16, 2014
I checked out SalsaDE's recommendation for the Cotton Club in Kaiserslautern--supposedly taking place on Fridays.  The truth is that salsa happens there about two times a year at the Cotton Club (near the Japanese Gardens).  Click on SalsaDe's link to see what might be true, but mostly it is not the case.  The only place I know of for sure is not even mentioned, The Irish House on Fridays (see link below).
The Irish House
East Kaiserslautern On road to Melingen
Irish House: Every 1st Friday 10 euros with live music, otherwise 5 euros.
Update 16 May 2014: The Irish House has a new floor, and the place was packed.

And old main-stay in Kaiserslautern (may be closed now but reopen)?
Kramladen: salsa at the Universität Kaiserslautern

Kramladen They have their last update in 2013; so I am not sure. I plan to go again to see if they are still open with salsa. Before my update please inform me if you know. The Internet has very little about salsa in the Kramladen. (See Salsa Termine (salsa events) which may not be correct.) Give it a try! Park near address and walk onto campus. Walk with your GPS in your hand. It's not easy the first time. Building 46 in the basement... follow the sound of salsa.
