Musicality is receptiveness and creativity, and comes solely from an individual's experience of music. As a couple, you are two extra instruments that add themselves to an orchestra, with its particular use of counterpoint (yes, there is even counterpoint even though you and the orchestra can't really be _harmonically_ interdependent.
